You need to make sure you write proper content specifically for your website. This will make sure it is designed for the search engines and to get as many sales as possible. The first thing to remember is that the aim of writing your content is to convert as many people to sales as possible. For that reason it should be eye catching and draw the user in to read more. Remember that although images do look great they are not always the best for selling and that good informative content will work much better.

However you also need to think about the search engines and make sure your content is set up the right way to help you with search engine rankings. The first thing you need to do is make sure you include your keywords in the content of your website. We would recommend only use 1-2 key phrases per page. You should aim to have these key phrases using up to 3% of your content on a particular page.

You should also write and interesting title that includes you main keywords. This will help the search engines to understand your page but could also help to capture the visitors' imagination. In addition you should make sure you use your keywords in the links on your web page.

Think about what people want to know. Have you given them all the information they need to be able to buy. If there are gaps in the information they may lose confidence and go somewhere else. However if you can answer all of their questions they will feel happy and be much more inclined to buy from you.

Things not to do to your Content

If you forget what your potential customers are looking for and just write the content for yourself. This will result in confused people that do not want to buy from you.

The other thing to avoid is keyword stuffing as this can get you a ban in the search engines. Also if you add your keywords an unnatural amount of times it will make your content hard to read. I have been on websites that put their keywords in every sentence and it does not make for pretty reading. Would you buy from a company that writes content which looks forced and unreal?

On conclusion, what the search engines like is well thought out informative content which is pretty much the same as your visitors. This means you cannot just put any old rubbish up and home that works you need to think very carefully about the information you are giving to your visitors. Remember to write something that will have people clambering to buy your product or service.
