E-commerce websites (otherwise known as online shops), have become very common. After all, why pay the extortionate rent and business rates for a normal shop, when you can do the same thing for a fraction of the cost online?

At Dazines we think that every online shop should be well organised and easy to use. This should be achievable by the following methods:

• Create clear concise categories for your products.
• Make sure all products are categorised correctly and are in as many relevant categories as possible.
• Make sure all products have a clear picture.
• Make sure all products have a clear and concise title and description.
• Add a search function, so that it is easy to find product.
• Show the 'Add to cart' button in an obvious position.
• Lay the shopping cart out in an easy to read manner.
• Make the check-out as simple as possible.

All of our ecommerce websites are completely bespoke and custom designed for your purposes. We don't use open source software for developing the site because open source solutions tend to have the following issues:

• They are not a perfect fit for you site.
• They tend to create websites that look the same (so your website won't stand out).
• They tend to be difficult to use - adding products is often not very easy.
• They tend to be filled with lots of useless functions that you will never know how to use, and confuse you (even if you are a computer whizzkid like our boffins).
