What are Keywords?
When somebody uses a search engine they will put a word or phrase into the search box in order to get the results they require. These words or phrases are known as the Keywords. So in order to improve your search engine ranking you need to select the keywords that you are going to work with.
How to Select your Keywords
- Analyse your business and select words/phrases that are relevant to it;
- Use a number of tools to get even more possibilities;
- Analyse competitor sites to see what is working for them;
- From your keywords and phrases select a phrase that has a good KEI (shows the relationship between number of searches and competition) and is highly relevant to your business.
